The Crown Called Writing Hat
The super powers when you adorn the writing hat

This poem is inspired by prompt write a poem about your favorite place to write by Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她).
My favorite place to write is in the woods Where the music of winds is understood, as it should Where I hear the birds chirp and leaves flutter, in solitude Unhindered, the nature speaks to soul in beatitude
Sometimes I climb up and write on the top of a cliff Rising, detached, I hear the cosmic crescendo All the worldly possessions and desires seem so trifle Harking the impermanence of all we own In a moment all will be gone
Often I am amidst the yellow and red fall leaves Singing the Autumn song The yellow, orange, red, brown keep me telling. That there are colors in falling There is beauty in parting
At times I am writing in the middle of a crystal clear sea Where on ends no one to see I am not alone, feel kindred spirits all around In all the drops of the vast ocean A part of me eager to ride with the wave, be a foam and merge with my whole.
I am lost in the vast meadows and a sparkling stream alongside The wildflowers, the lush green far and wide Unleashing the creative mind A special spot for the inner writer to unwind
As it is said, poets reach where the sun rays can not riding on their imagination plane. I visit all the above places while sitting on my writing desk in my sweet little corner.
Once the writing hat is my crown, I am no more confined to my physical space and time. It feels the whole universe is mine to explore.
Please do let me know in the comments below the place where the writer in you travels once the writing hat is your crown.
Thank you, Lucy for giving a direction to write and a place to publish.
