Summary

The web content presents a reflective photopoetry piece titled "The Coward" exploring themes of forgiveness and second chances in the face of significant mistakes, alongside showcasing additional works by the author and fellow writers.

Abstract

"The Coward (Photopoetry version)" is a contemplative piece that delves into the human capacity for forgiveness, particularly in situations where individuals have committed serious wrongs such as disappointing parents, leaving lovers, or canceling marriages without cause. It questions whether those who have erred, specifically the sinner, the cheater, and the coward, are deserving of the second chances they may be offered. The poem suggests that while some individuals are brave enough to accept the opportunity to make amends, others may falter and fail to rise to the challenge. The author expresses gratitude to readers and promotes further engagement with their work, as well as the work of other writers who have followed them, touching on diverse topics such as the psychology of abuse, the dynamics of long-term marriage, and the characteristics of working dogs.

Everyone has mistakes in their life. Disappointing the parents, leaving the lover, canceling a marriage without cause, etc. Some big mistakes might seem impossible to get a forgiveness.

But, sometimes, the person who’s being hurt, surprisingly, still have a big heart giving a second chance to forgive, to fix the mistake, to start over, or continue everything that was delayed.

Does the sinner, the cheater, the coward deserve this chance? Only theirselves can decide if they deserve for it or not. Some are courage enough to admit they’re wrong and take the challenge (the second chance) they get to repair, to make amends. However, some others may be still too coward to take that challenge and become the losers.

Thank you for reading my poem. :-)

Controlling bugs, torturing and killing them starts the process and brings out happiness and power to the abuser.

Deeply thoucimg part: I pick at my food, and glance at other tables and see how everyone else is talking. My heart begins to sink.

German Shepherd. To me, they personify the best of a working dog while at the same time still retaining its very canine characteristics.
