When piercing high-frequency Spiritual Light has touched our lives, it can expose all our deepest fears.

We believe the Light comes to us as our comfort, but often Spiritual Light comes to reveal our dysfunction. Nothing impure goes unnoticed while shaking loose our firm grip on reality.

These High vibrational Light encounters arrive in different ways. One such way is meditation with the Sacred Fire. Spiritual Light reveals our illusions, stirs up our stagnated energy, and sometimes exposes our current path as fruitless and empty.

After this experience, it is an excellent time to escape to the comfort of the dark womb of Mother Earth.

We require specific energy that quietness and the Earth can give us. To do this we need to take a nature journey. We pick a trail that goes through woods, fields, and perhaps the presence of water.

This trek starts in the afternoon after the harsh part of the Sun has passed. We leave behind any connections to our old life and turn off our cellphone.

We can take this journey alone or ideally with a loyal friend. Their role is to represent the essence of nature spirits and be a faithful protector of the quality of our trip and a comforting non-judgmental presence.

Then we walk, letting go of our everyday life, leaving it far behind with each step. Our companion never mentions any topics that jar us back into our old selves.

We want to blend with the Consciousness of the Earth, to embrace all that is magical about our planet. We might come across ancient stones or carvings, fascinating plants or trees, beautiful birds, or a secret mountain lake.

Later we find a nice clearing to make our camp. As darkness surrounds us, we embrace it along with the vastness of space, moon, and stars.

Once we have found our resting place, we build a fire. Fires from the Earth are healing and comforting. We eat foods that are also comforting.

We might recite poetry, or our companion could read aloud a book of grand adventures in faraway or magical places.

We sleep in the peace of our Great Mother. Letting her heal and nurture us. She reminds us in our dreams to come home more often.

We have taken time to meditate during this journey but in a gentle way where our meditations are more about absorbing all the energies around us — breathing deep the essence of home.

The power of this journey will reset our systems and remind us what is authentic.

With every encounter of intense purifying Spiritual Light, we also need the opposite to balance us. You are escaping the piercing bright Light into the fading afternoon light, the darkness of night, and the gentle sparkle at dawn.

If there is no way to take a nature journey overnight, the next best thing would be to make your home a cave for a day or two.

Close off all the windows, muffle outside sounds and create a cozy spot that is different than your normal area. Use soft low light, candles, a fireplace, and wear pajama-like clothes, socks, or house slippers. Prepare food ahead of time like sandwiches, casseroles, soups with some fresh bread, and drink warm liquids.

Perhaps listen to an audiobook that takes you far away to magical kingdoms or grand adventures. If you have a quiet private backyard go out at night and sit in a chair, taking in the darkness, or perhaps walk barefoot in the grass. Do your exercising, light meditation in the house or after dark outside in the private area. Remember not to talk on the cellphone; turn it off, let yourself be a Hermit for a day or two.

We need to have a dark time after a time of blazing Light.
