You take a good look at your hands and body, then gently touch your face for any visible changes.

“I feel…different. Changed.”

Dara chuckles. “Changed as in revived and ready to progress on our quest, or as in you’re ready to start spitting fires and turn us all into dust?”

“To be honest, at this moment, I can’t really tell the difference between the two. I’m fucking exhausted.”

“Well, figures. Take a rest, and let’s move.”

“I can’t thank you enough for what you did back there, Dara.”

“The curse is gone. But Five Oaks village is under attack.”
