The Best Decision That Has Strengthened Awareness

I am realizing that consciously doing that one workout per day and disciplining myself to write an article is helping me expand my awareness, write and publish more, become attentive, improve memory, beat boredom, and now open up to read about different domains in Personal Development and Self-Awareness

Life lessons learned and Takeaway from Week 7

Week 7 Day 1 This Is How Exercising Is Helping Me

Today we had to do a full Body HIIT cardio and abs exercises. Each exercise was for 45 minutes with 15 minutes to rest. Time-wise 45 seconds for each exercise means ample time and wasn’t feel rushed. While coming closer to the end of Phase 2 of the 12-Week Home workout program, I am realizing that consciously doing that one workout per day and disciplining myself to write an article is helping me expand my awareness, write and publish more, become attentive, improve memory, beat boredom and now opening up to read about different domains in Personal Development and Self-Awareness.

Today’s memory jogger

180 jump Squat, One leg deadlift and press, Spiderman lunge, Squat and cutesy lunge. Shadow boxing, Plank Jack’s and one leg lift, Squat and Kick Using Stability Ball, Pike, Straight full plank, Bent knee crunch, and Pass the ball over

On Day 1 of Week 7, I shared about how taking the CliftonStrengths assessment and following through, is helping individuals and teams use their talent and strength effectively. The best way to learn something is to read, internalize and share the knowledge with someone. That is exactly what I would like to do.

After watching a couple of videos from the people who took their assessments, I am inspired to share the benefit they got with you today.

When your strengths are applied, productively recognized, and called out, then your aliveness comes up. You are truly being engaged and not acting like a robot.

Talent themes and Clifton Strengths as identified in their assessment are all positive and you do them right naturally.

You would look and focus on your talents and strength consciously while doing your tasks. Added to that an affirming language that describes you at your greatest proves to be the best catalyst in achieving your goal.

People who take this assessment have a common language to connect and explore each other’s Talent themes and strengths.

Knowing your strength helps to figure out what to say yes to. Based on your strengths, If the task energizes you, you say yes. If it drains your energy just walk away from it.

The Strengths are easily accessible and instantly easy to apply.

It’s a very simplistic approach and not buried in a complicated matrix or graph or formula.

I seem to have a strong desire to take the “34 Clifton Strengths assessment” and I am setting an intention to do it soon. Until I do that, in case you have already taken the assessment, please share your experience. As always, I thank you for being a part of my Home working out and Writing Journey.

Shout Out to Dr. Tom Frieden for a thought-provoking and interesting artcle.
