Yet all I see is the 12 days I did not publish.

I see the challenges of the situation I am navigating. I don’t see that I showed up to write in the middle of a storm.

I see the few cents per article. I don’t see the potential in exponential growth.

I see that I didn’t go viral despite the effort put in. I don’t see the growing confidence of mastering a skill.

I see how difficult it is to show up each day when the views are not spiking. I don’t see that my monthly views have become my weekly views.

I see the time it takes to create content. I don’t see that my articles have grown from 2-min reads to 8-min reads.

I see the mistakes and the failures, that is why it’s so difficult to keep pushing.

It feels like taking one step forward and two steps back.

But, how do you tell if your effort will pay off?

You can’t.

The only thing that is certain is that once you stop trying, you will stop making progress.

All you can do is to keep putting one foot in front of the other, to keep moving.

And trust that it will work out in the end.

It’s as simple as that.

But it’s not easy.
