The Power of Poerty
That Unlocks the Secrets of Our Mind

But what would happen if we didn’t give it a voice? Losing all of the potential, potential in our wildest yearn I’ve seen the forest through a windowpane; a panorama of trees that I know to be there, just not audible My imagination was given wings through this silence It is in this silence that I’ve come to the conclusion that we have more control than powerlessness The silence warns of the impending danger, but some still don’t want to leave their seat Much like a lamppost, an unlit streetlight is only ominous at night when someone is coming home late

The silence offers us a chance to meet them halfway with our eyes wide open and welcoming the light into our being, much like the lamp post being lit with electricity. This could explain why some people will be struck by lightning on a clear day when no storm is in sight.

Silence. The long sharp silence. Cut and disappear, A knife through the air, A word on the page, Scribbled over with recurring thought, Revealing all the possibilities. That one word can obliterate forever. As much as the words mean, they mean nothing without silence. A poem must be written with the utmost respect. Silence is true wisdom’s best reply.
