That Infinite Vastness of a Lover’s Promise
Love like stars, hope like quasars guiding you near.
I stand alone in the infinite vastness of choice But I’m not alone in the infinite vastness of stars For you burn light and beauty across the skies As I reach past the firmament of my eternal fall To find you dwelling within the planets of candor
Once again, I sing the song of love and absolution Once again, I become the future void of past intention forever adrift upon the roads within metamorphic desolation The enigma without the infallible awakens to the cessation of Truth within a single leaf, within the potential of a seed
Trees verses upon the blank page of a wasteland Decries harmony within the great spheres Bemoans liberty banging on the cell bars of life Void of choice, screams without a voice, life without Rebellion against the known. For here we stand
On the precipice and roar like lions amidst The moonlight twilight of hungry will. We are The fractal of a snowflake. We are the Klein bottle Of memory ratting upon the bars of a jail cell
Imploring, enraging soliloquies of a rebel poet’s Scratching, erasing epitaphs of an undying soul to fly beyond the stars of your eyes that once pierced my armor, as I fly beyond the heart limits to the place of that eternal flickering light.
