Thanks for Your Applause

I earned my first cents!

Unless you’re also a writer who’s been practising for ten years and you finally wrote something that people valued enough to show their appreciation, you won’t know how I’m feeling today!

How cool is that? If you think that’s not a lot and what on earth is this woman raving about, I do understand. However, to me, it’s a start. It’s encouragement. It means I know what to keep writing more of next week. I’m also sitting here with a big grin on my face!

What did I do last week that was different to my unsuccessful forays into publishing on Medium before?

What am I going to do in the next five days?

  • Continue following the authors and followers of popular articles.
  • Write another five articles.
  • Thanks to Finding Your Tags, which you can find here, I know I should focus on these particular tags: Self Improvement; Inspiration; Education; Life; Writing
  • Read, highlight and respond to the articles that are inspiring, educational, and will help me to improve my writing.
  • Learn how to utilise more of the tools offered by Medium. You can find some here.

Keep at it fellow writers.
