Thank You Notes News #3

Dear Lovely Writers and Readers,
What a beautiful week it has been in our co-creative family here at Thank You Notes. I appreciate the infusion of creativity, love, and gratitude here in our space. We are together here, and it warms my heart every day.
From an early age, I was so enamored by international travel and friendships. We hosted two Japanese students in our home, and from then on, I knew I wanted to go abroad.
The following year I got to spend a year in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. It was an experience that changed my life. I made friends there that are still my best friends today. Every week I check in on my friend Lily, who I call my sister. I also exchange messages with my friend Miguel who is like a brother to me.
In late 2019, I had a human design report done for me. The lovely practitioner who explained my readings told me that I needed to connect to and reach many people. Little did I know that my love for writing would lead me to everyone here.
The year 2020 gave me the chance to make more International friends here on Medium. I am grateful for every one of you. You light up my days, and I love to share your writing here at Thank You Notes.
Today I call upon all of you to help our friends in India in any way you can. We can all lift each other during these difficult times.
I deeply appreciate my dear friends Gurpreet Dhariwal and Dr. Preeti Singh in India. They are a great source of light and inspiration every day.
Thank you all for your beautiful notes, stories, and poems of gratitude last week.
We are still working on the prompt:
Thank You Note, Poem, or Story About a Teacher
I am also announcing a new prompt this week:
Thank You Note, Poem or Story About International Friendship
We also always have the following sections as ongoing prompts for you to explore:
Notes: These can be photos and stories of handwritten or digital thank you notes you have received that have touched your heart. They can also be ones that you decided to write to others.
Universe: These stories or poems give appreciation to our universe, galaxy, stars, and space.
Spiritual: These stories or poems thank a higher power in our lives. We may thank life, the universe, the spirit, or God for what we have been given in our lives.
Poetry: This category features poems written to say thank you in a variety of ways. Poetry may cross over into other sections as well.
Humanity: This category spotlights people we want to thank from our past, present, and future. They can be people in our lives or people we imagine. There are so many beautiful humans out there touching our lives and helping us. Stories and poems here focus on appreciating others.
Earth: This category focuses on Mother Earth and nature. We are thankful to the Earth for the gifts we are given of air, water, and sunlight every day. Stories and poems featured here give thanks to our home planet.
Food: This category features appreciation for the food and drinks we are gifted daily to nourish us. I welcome thank you poems or stories about food that are appreciative in nature. You can write about and share recipes, especially ones handed down through your family, for which you are very grateful.
