Tears of Joy
In response to Dancing Elephants prompt 41 of 52

Amidst life’s trials and triumphs, tears of joy stand as enigmatic symbols of our deepest connections and vulnerabilities.
Within the shimmering droplets of tears, lies an intricate tale of profound happiness, shared experiences and the tender beauty of being alive.
I am sure that there must be some precious moments in our life when each one of us has experienced such beautiful emotions to be cherished forever.
For me, what I have felt is that whenever I am in the lap of nature, I am the happiest version of myself. And that sometimes leads to tears to joy, my heart and soul full to the brim with gratitude for the surprising, priceless moments I have bumped into thus far.
I feel blessed!
One such moment I experienced was during a recent trip to the Himalayas, escaping the sweltering heat of the crazy man-made jungle.
It’s a small village up in the Garhwal Himalayas where I could see in delight the clouds embracing the mountains and together they create a symphony and invite blissful, intermittent rain.
It was drizzling continually turning the entire place into a peaceful, picturesque haven.
Tears of joy welled up in my eyes, and I was caught unawares while welcoming the rain. My heart overflowed with gratitude towards the Almighty who magically crafted such breathtaking beautiful moments .
I felt eternally blessed, again!🧿🙏🌷

I’m a simple soul, I get fascinated by simple stuff,
I keep staring at the world, I believe in the magic of the world.
Like clouds floating in the mountains, like a nimbus brings rain —
Everything is tied by an invisible chord.
I’m a simple soul, I get fascinated by simple stuff.

The raindrops drench me in all the possible colors of vibgyor,
Just like a dollop of kindness that makes a big difference in life.
We dance to the tunes of rain, along with the monsoon music —
The limitless sky rumbles, as we float through the poet’s verses,
I’m a simple soul, I get fascinated by simple stuff.

With each soft patter upon the ground, a calming effect, like peace unwound.
With every drop of rain touching my face like a supple kiss on my skin.
In every drop, a gift so rare, to find tranquility, it’s there.
A gentle touch upon the soul, rain’s soothing presence makes me whole.
I’m a simple soul, I get fascinated by simple stuff.

A tender touch, a heartfelt embrace, unveils emotions, words can’t convey,
In tears of joy, we find our grace, tears of joy speak volumes, in their grace.
Each drop is a testament, pure, genuine, and bright,
In moments tasted, cherished, and gauged beyond measure,
I’m a simple soul, I get fascinated by simple stuff.

In moments pure, when joy is found, a cascade of tears, they gently flow,
From the depths of the soul, unbound, these tears of joy, like stars aglow.
They are more than just salty droplets that trickle down my cheeks,
They are a symphony of emotions that resonate deep within my soul.
I’m a simple soul, I get fascinated by simple stuff.
