POEM OF SATISFACTION

Taste Buds, Tickling What?

Let us poetically explore the origin of sensually satisfying ignitions of our deepest senses.

Tonight I had a treat with tantalizing delight

A slather of jam across my sourdough slice

A tickle of Habanero, a twinkling fresh peach

Played games with my senses curling my toes waiting to repeat

Each bite sets a fire burning with more to desire

Keep that cool drink far from me so my heat will want to stay for free

This sharp sweetness awakened cravings I need to explore

Do you have an invitation for succulent temptations

It’s a good time for vacations

I cordially accept just leave open your door
