Tackling The Abortion Issue
In America

WARNING: This will be a controversial article. Read at your own discretion.
Here’s the thing. It would be a high spiritual crime for any soul to invade the space of another soul that is currently using a body for this incarnation. Simply put, the chances of this happening are slim to none. Soul, us, know better. Life begins when soul incarnates into a physical presence. Hence, on first breath, or another way to say this is not reliant on life from a body otherwise in use by another soul.
Until then a fetus is a part of the woman’s body. No different than cancer cells that could be growing in her body. Stillbirths occur when no soul chooses that new body. It’s always been and always will be a choice soul makes. The only one who has the right to make this difficult choice regarding abortion is the woman. Always. Spiritually speaking.
If you are religious and follow the bible there is this. In Genesis, chapter one, God answers that question himself. He forms a figure from the Earth, but it does not become Adam (“man” in Hebrew) until God “breathes into him the breath of life, and he became man.” Clearly, life begins when you draw your first breath.
If that isn’t sufficient enough to sow doubt here is a great article from Olliegarkey on Daily Kos sharing more evidence straight from scripture as to when life begins. Please take the time to read his article. It is well-sourced and enlightening. He also happens to be a Christian.
Can there be a soul connection between the mother and the soon-to-be human child? Absolutely. It would be unusual if an expectant mother doesn’t feel this in the later stages of pregnancy.
Abortion is a highly charged issue mainly due to spiritual ignorance. What the abortion laws are really about is nothing more than a power play. Throughout history, women have been considered less than. Still singing the same old tune. Keep them pregnant and barefoot.
If life begins at conception why can’t we get a life insurance policy on the fetus? Can we open a bank account for the fetus? Can we claim the fetus on our taxes? Do we have to buy a ticket for the fetus when we fly? Do we hold funerals for aborted fetuses? Does the fetus exist legally at all?
No. It doesn’t. So our legal system doesn’t recognize a fetus as a living human. But abortion laws do? How is it we can make laws regarding an entity that is not recognized by our legal system of government? How is that even legal? Go figure.
I realize the abortion issue is a hot topic. I understand opinions are all over the place on this and I respect your opinion. Feel free to share your thoughts. I ask that if you comment on this article please express yourself civilly.
