Suspended Hemorrhage

A protest poem

I felt Medium came to an end Then I got a response from Buster Benson But it’s taking too much time, should have already rectified

No matter what he said, can’t get this outta my head

They’ve gone away And left us to ourselves They’ve gone away

There’s no more reading, suspended, suspended, my friends No more reading, suspended, suspended Stop the bleeding

We all think that this is outrageous There’s so many friends that I’ve gotten to know

I don’t know what to write, backing up all my files Stab me and twist the knife

Overnight with spite, you’ve put all their heads on pikes

They’ve gone away We’re all by ourselves They’ve gone away

No more reading, suspended, suspended, my friends No more reading, suspended, suspended Stop the bleeding

And we’re waiting for what you’ll say I bet you’ll forget, but we won’t What a fucking crime

They’ve gone away Left us by ourselves They’ve gone away

Despite our pleading, suspended, suspended my friends No more reading, suspended, suspended my friends Stop the bleeding of my suspended Medium friends

This is in response to the numerous accounts suspended/in limbo. I was actually going to try something different this month and publish just twice a week. I’ve got other poems in my drafts on hold because I need to get this out of my system.

I may have to write “Ode to a Tote Bag” and rewrite the lyrics to “Closer” by Nine Inch Nails if this isn’t cleared up soon.

Queen Misbah Sheikhh, I’ve added one lonely fuck to your kingdom. But I’m sure I’ll have more.
