Summer is finally here. For all book lovers: It’s time for lots of reading!
My favorite season is here! As always, I hope for great weather, relaxation, camping, trips abroad, and everything else on the wish list for this summer. And, of course, with plenty of time to read.
Us book lovers have an essential thing to plan — the summer’s TBR. I love researching and buying books to prepare for a glorious summer.

My reading plan for the summer of 2023
On my list for Summer Reads 2023 are three romances, two fantasy books, and one non-fiction.
Three Romance Books
- ‘Love, Theoretically’ by Ali Hazelwood Because Ali Hazelwood writes the most captivating books. This is the year's most anticipated read!
- ‘Secretly Yours’ by Tessa Bailey Because I adore the playfulness in Tessa Bailey’s writing.
- ‘Take a hint, Dani Brown’ by Talia Hibbert Because I want to get to know a new author with a book I’ve heard so much great about.
Two Fantasy Books
- ‘The Fourth Wing’ by Rebecca Yarros Because Stephanie Gillespie gives it such a good review in this story: Reading booktok’s most hyped Fantasy Romance
- ‘Once Upon a Broken Heart’ by Stephanie Garber Because Marie Kester convinces me that this is a book I must read in this story: I Read A Fantasy Book — And Can’t Stop Thinking About It
One Non-fiction Book
- ‘The Anthropocene Reviewed’ by John Green Because Casey Lawrence catches my interest with her review of the book in this story: The Anthropocene Reviewed, Reviewed
