I’m Journaling About My Progress on Medium.

Because I want to make your writing journey on Medium easier.

Before New Year’s Eve, I had a conversation with a friend.

While a couple of other friends kept posting pictures and writings about how much of a journey the year 2023 had been, he didn’t have much to talk about.

For these other friends, there were loads of monthly picture dumps, lessons they learned, challenges they overcame, battles they won and lost, and dreams that came true with a topping of sincere gratitude for how far they had come.

In more appropriate words, this one friend of mine could not remember much what transpired in 2023, for him.

That’s a big problem, you know.

It’s because we are human. There is so much going on in our lives everyday of the week. Sometimes we can barely remember we have a scheduled appointment at midday.

So how on earth do you expect to remember an entire year’s worth of happenings without making use of some elements of remembrance?

This is why I am journaling about my progress on Medium.

I have been journaling effectively for over a year now and I don’t want to get started on the benefits of it. That’s a story for another day.

As indicated in a few previous stories of mine, I am on a self started 30-day writing challenge on Medium (It’s actually a 29-day challenge since we’re in February).

Today marks day 20 and I am so excited about the progress I have made.

Throughout this 20-day journey I have learned so much about getting the best out of Medium, and I don’t want to get lost in the various other issues of life so much so that I forget the results of my experimentation.

I’d also hate to gatekeep all the lessons I have gleaned so far because I have you in mind as well.

That’s why I am journaling.

Essentially, I am going to make your journey on this platform easier by putting down notes on what works, what does not work, a few tips and tricks that helped me grow my account, and a lot more valuable info to help you get started or get better as a writer on the platform.

We have only nine days left to go and the excitement keeps reeling in.

I’ll publish a story at the end of February detailing all the juicy insights you need to get ahead on Medium.
