welcome to the The Prompt Headlines publication. Here you can submit up to one article containing ten headlines per day to be offered for public use and inspiration.
Consider the following example —
From a past age when the publication was more humour based and called ‘Ten Headlines’.Please follow the recommended guidelines below to speed up the process of publishing your work. ⬇️⬇️
Submitting —
Being Added as a Writer
- Respond strictly with the following text — ‘I love headlines!!’
- Follow us.
You’ll be added within 24 hours.
Submitting
Once added as a writer —
- Compose your piece in check with the formatting guide in the next section below.
- Click on the three dots icon (top-right corner) to open the menu.
- Select ‘Add to publication’.
- Click ‘Select and Continue’.
- When ready, click the green ‘Submit’ button.
Originality
Draft submissions only. No plagiarism is a given.
Formatting —
Title
Choose one headline from your submission including its position number. For the purposes of this publication, assure all words are capitalized.
i.e. №6 This Is The Best Headline In The World
№1 = type “no.1” with a capital N.
Subtitle
‘with [your Medium name]’
Kicker
‘The Prompt Headlines — pt.’
I’ll personally add the count number to avoid any complications amid the hubbub.
Accredited Images
One image is required directly following or preceding the main title and subtitle. Medium curation guidelines prefer images beneath the title, but we’ll leave that up to you.
Only one image is allowed per The Prompt Headlines piece. Additional images will be removed.
The fastest and safest way to add images — using Unsplash:
1. Select an empty line on your article;
2. click the circled addition sign on the left;
3. you want the magnifying glass.

Not including the required tag will leave your prompts submission out of the official prompts listing on the publication’s home page. Recommended tags are the primary ones I use for these stories.
