Stepping Outside My Comfort Zone— My Attempt at Poetry

In reading Dr Mehmet Yildiz article on Finding Our Niche with Novelty, I was sparked by his thought: We can connect with our higher self using novelty as an inspiration and motivation tool.

If you have been reading some of my latest articles, you know I love me some tools :)

This article ending up inspiring me to try a different writing style. Here goes:

It Pays to Play

A penny for your thoughts

as the saying goes

A penny for your thoughts

some may view me wise

some might view me old

A penny for your thoughts

as I walk around

A penny for your thoughts

looking down on the ground

A penny for your thoughts

huh? — a $20 bill is found!

A $20 for my thoughts?

guess today, I have a lot to say…

…and I learned it pays to play!

This actually happened as I was walking this morning — my form of play. And then the words flowed…

A surprise continuation to my article on play:

Some inspiring poets with an outside theme:

We are all on a journey as Gurpreet Dhariwal so beautifully shares:

Salam Khan shares the freedom of nature:

Spring is a time when things come alive shares Selma:

Like Marcela Cruz-Gibbons — we share the love for a summer day:

I love trees — and loved this by P.G. Barnett as he shares:

And Dr Mehmet Yildiz article that inspired me to try something NEW:

Until next time~

Sending you light, love — and a rhyme…(ha!)
