Steal my Medium Affiliate Marketing Strategy

Medium affiliate marketing! It's one of the smartest ways to make money with affiliate marketing. You use your content to reach your audience, share valuable information and refer to a product in the process.
You can serve your audience and refer to affiliate products. Doing it the right way can make you a successful affiliate.
Here's how to do it…
Does Medium Affiliate Marketing work? (And how much are affiliates making?)
First, let's look at some numbers…
- $1,000 from one Medium affiliate article
- $318,000 on Medium as a new creator
- Making $3,000 from one Medium article
It's clear people are making money from Medium affiliate marketing.
Does it work?
Yes.
Is it hard?
Not really, but everyone isn't successful with it.
Here are 7 of my best tips to help you make more money with Medium affiliate marketing.
7 Tips to Grow Your Medium Affiliate Marketing Income
Ok, here we go…
1. Create problem-solving content
The best content that prompts action is problem-solving content. Your audience has a pain point, a burden, something that haunts them, and they are looking for a solution.
Create content with that in mind and present your affiliate product as a solution for them.
2. Make your content value-driven
It's not all about sales. And people can see when you're being overly salesy. It's a major turnoff.
There's no science to making money with Medium affiliate marketing. It's more of an art.
First and foremost, make your content valuable.
Tell a story, paint a picture, and jam-pack your article with a value that your audience will appreciate.
Then, refer to affiliates as it makes sense.
3. Naturally refer affiliates
Naturally refer.
Instead of saying, "click here to buy affiliate product XYZ," share your experience with the product or say nothing at all. Just talk about the product briefly and link to it.
4. Choose your niche carefully
So many times, people are drawn to specific affiliate programs because they are high-paying. Those aren't going to necessarily be the best affiliate offers for you to promote or for your audience.
Choose affiliate products that align with your audience, and if you go with your passions, that's even better.
5. Refer the same product again and again
I used to read blog posts from my favorite bloggers. I noticed they'd often talk about the same products over and over.
When I first started blogging, I stayed away from that.
I thought my reader doesn't want to hear me talk about this affiliate product in every article.
But, the truth is, you'll rarely come across someone who reads every single piece of content you create, even for the most loyal readers from your audience.
Those bloggers that referred the same affiliate product repeatedly saw success.
Once I realized that, I started doing it, and with this shift, some of my most consistent affiliates earned me money month after month, passively.
Again, make sure your referral makes sense for the topic you're writing about, be natural, and keep your audience in mind.
6. Use multiple platforms
I'm probably in at least a dozen different affiliate programs and platforms. Diversify and choose different offers.
I used to follow the income reports of Matthew Woodward.
He'd have these huge, long income reports detailing how much he earned blogging.
And one of his largest income streams was affiliate marketing commissions!
He had dozens and dozens of different affiliates he was promoting.
It was jaw-dropping to view.
I shared a screenshot in one of my Medium stories that showed it. Wild.
Anyway, you don't have to be married to one affiliate program.
Join multiple affiliate programs and platforms to get access to multiple offers, which can help you make more money from Medium affiliate marketing.
I randomly picked the "right offer" almost a year ago to share on Medium, and that choice has made me an extra nearly $30,000!

7. Follow the rules
Here are the guidelines for Medium affiliate marketing.
Medium allows affiliate marketing, but you've got to follow the rules.

Read these carefully and make sure you follow their guidelines.
