Statue of Liberty
Hataciku Poem

STATUE OF LIBERTY
calling distant shores
give me your tired and poor
yearning to breathe free
.
think how far I come
from darkness into the light
of the lamp held high
long voyage arduous and hard
transforming me on the go
.
celebrate my goal
seeing the path before me
life begins afresh
