Spirit Longing
A Poem

Across oceans, rivers, mountains, Whole continents in between, My soul found you. Gliding over the planet To merge with yours. Connected without knowing, Boundless passion igniting, Minds ignorant Of the soul’s growing desire.
We collide, Our souls, entwine, Overwhelming the world, A psychic tsunami of passion, Before bodies ever touched. Forests in far-flung lands, Whole heaving oceans witnessed Our lust and passion. Corporeal bodies, following slowly, A step behind connected souls. Sensuously, we unite, Souls sighing, relief, Pleasure, passion escaping Our lips, touching, Skin to skin, At last.
