Clouds Caress The Sky
A Cloudy Photostory
Clouds can be so beautiful. They hang in the sky, paint on nature’s canvas.
I live in a beautiful part of the world; the Åland Islands in Finland. The skies are often huge, decorated with wisps of cloud and sometimes walls of clouds.

Surrounded by water, sometimes it is difficult to see where the sky ends and the water starts.

Storm clouds in summer are a sight to behold!

The little cloud hanging below the rest caught my imagination. A small formation under a huge, grey-black monstrosity.
For much of the time, the weather is kind and soft.

Even walking around the islands can be a cloud-spotters dream.

Fluffy clouds hang in the sky. The sun never really makes it up high into the sky, so the light is soft, even in the peak of summer.

Winter sees the skies carry a heavy cloud burden.

Clouds create a spectacular backdrop to the museum ship I work on. It is a part of Åland’s Maritime Museum.
The sea changes daily, sometimes reflecting the beautiful sky like a mirror, sometimes a choppy, watery carpet.

Such beautiful, natural artistry.
