Surprise! I opened our mailbox yesterday and inside was an envelope with a bill. No surprise there 🙁 But next to the envelope was a rock.

That was a surprise!

And it wasn’t a Charlie Brown rock. Remember the Great Pumpkin?

It was a hand-painted rock someone had left in our mailbox. An act of kindness that made me smile😄

As I write this, the sender is still anonymous.

This experience inspired an acronym and my first attempt at a haiku 😐
