South of Indifference
Poetry / Lyrics
We got so tired, In our weary minds,
Some nights we are stars, Some days we’re resigned.
But I know my friend, You will find out, in the end.
It doesn’t matter who you were, It doesn't matter what you meant,
Where you find love, you’ll be, South of indifference.
Fire will burn away the darkness in your heart, and overhead,
Where you find love, you’ll be, South of indifference.
You’ve gone so far, In those dreaming eyes,
And when the daylight returns, All is lost, for a while.
But I know my friend, You will feel it, in the end.
It doesn’t matter who you were, It doesn’t matter what you said,
Where you find love, you’ll be, South of indifference.
If loneliness has got you down and makes you brave a long silence,
Where you find love, you’ll be, South of indifference.
It doesn’t matter who you were,
And it really doesn’t matter, what you meant,
Where you find love, you’ll be, South of indifference.
With a light in those eyes, With a song in the Summer air …
South of indifference.
