Some of the Best Tips to $100
3 writers tips and approaches to make a $100

Making money on Medium isn’t easy. You write your stories; you figure out ways of promoting your articles. You check your stats. Wash, rinse, and repeat.
While you are doing all of this, you come across a lot of articles giving you advice on how to make money on the site, while others are giving you advice on side hustles that aren’t writing. Sometimes this advice can be useful, or as Ophélie Quillier put it, a lot of it can just be plain bad advice.
In any case, some advice can useful. I have come across several articles that are giving you advice on making a low amount. Not thousands of dollars, rather a nice obtainable amount of $100. For some, this might seem easy, while for others, like me, when you do the math. Consistently getting a $100 a month writing through Medium. Might not be that easy overall.
With that being the case, let’s explore three articles that give you advice on making $100 on this site.
2 Tips To Earn $100 Or More On Medium Per Month! — Junaid Mustafa
Junaid keeps it short and simple. He suggests you read more articles, then you write more and do it consistently. Seems simple enough, right?
By reading more, you are able to gain more insight on topics, which should motivate you to write more. This is coupled with research on various topics that come about from reading more. You are arming yourself with a lot of knowledge that can create a load of content.
His suggestion of writing more and consistently is a normal idea that a lot of people give. Does this work, well, yes, and no. One of my favorite writers Khadejah has chronicled how she wrote or continues to write every day. By her doing this, she has done well. However, she writes about writing on Medium. You can write every day, but if your topics aren’t something that will gain readers on Medium, you aren’t going to do as well as you hope. Remember the people that read your articles, so you can make money are Medium readers, not external views.
Overall, it is decent advice to make you some money to start.
Make Your First $100 On Medium Fast! — Asad Educate
Another short, but direct article. Here Asad who has over two thousand followers tells you something that we just covered as a way to make your first $100. Surprise surprise everyone, you need to write more. I know you all are shocked by this as well.
Yes, you need to write more content. He says it could be any content, but the point is you need to write.
Yes, writing more matters, but just like with Junaid, writing more isn’t always going to get your reads. If you are writing every day about something that isn’t going to get SEO on Medium, well, you aren’t going to hit that $100 amount.
I do agree with the writing, but the type of content, plus the amount really does matter.
This Is Why You Won’t Make More Than $100 On Medium — Misbah S
Someone who is a top writer in several categories, Misbah gives three reasons why you aren’t making or rather, won’t make more than $100 on Medium.
Her first reason is “You Don’t Show Up Daily”, which is another way of saying, you need to write more. In this case, you need to write everything. She suggests you write something every day for three months. Since Misbah is a top writer, the suggestion to write more, with a timespan is something that I would take into account. Like we’ve looked at before. You need to write, so you can get more reads. It’s not surprising that the three writers all have this as their first tip.
Her second tip is, ”You Think That You Know Everything”, might seem weird, but it’s a way of saying don’t be so proud that you can’t learn new things to write about. To me, this Is a reminder to do the work and research things, so you can put up quality stories, so you can get followers and then people to read your thoughts. As my favorite podcast says, “None of us is as smart as all of us.”
Her last thing is something that we don’t normally think enough about, “Your Stories Don’t Have Appropriate Tags”. With only having five options for your tags, I think we all struggle with what to tag so that we get maximum engagement. If you want to get exposed or possibly selected for a newsletter or another feature, the Writehere tag is great. If you want medium to see you, then the Medium tag is the way to go too.
The tags you select are important, so much so you should just use up the 5 with whatever. You can monitor what is getting views, then change around the tags and see how that goes. Don’t skip out on tags, they get you reads, which is how you are going to get paid.
These aren’t the only articles detailing how to make some sort of money at the lower end. Remember you have to start somewhere, If we aim to get a certain obtainable amount, once we reach that target, the next level will come much easier.
You need to start by setting obtainable targets. That way you don’t get discouraged, which will then lead you to quit or cut back on your production. Keep it going no matter what and you’ll be happy with your results.
