I wanted to make a fairly exhaustive list of the small publications I am aware of and have spoken with directly, who are:

  1. Actively accepting new writers and publishing articles
  2. Building a community and fostering warm environments for writers and readers alike.

Many of these publications are a part of the publication focused community (meta!) called The Publication Station, which I’ve listed as the first pub below. This is a pub that is more than just a pub, and anyone in the group will attest to that, no doubt!
