Simple Tricks To Help The Geniuses
Even during the worst moments of their life, some people have big dreams and work hard to realize them. Maybe we have met those kinds of people in varying moments of our life. But we seldomly realize how much sacrifice they are making to accomplish something that was not made for someone like them.
Sometimes, we even assume that they will get tired once and be forever forgotten before they even make their name, as has happened to many who have started to work hard on their dreams.
However, when those people make it to the top, we love to create great stories about them, transform them into born genius, and give them astounding pasts. What if we knew how to help them and become a part of their achievement? What if we knew how to discover them at an early age? Who wouldn't want to be part of a genius life?
Who are the geniuses?
Most successful people are "regular" people who laugh, cry, fear, etc. The only things that make them different are:
1) They give a purpose to their life and stick to it no matter how difficult their life is and how little support they have found along the way.
2) They might give up occasionally but always return to their original purpose.
3) They meet the right people at the correct times.
For me sticking to one's purposes is the main element that characterizes any future successful person. However, it's not as easy as it seems.
Even in normal circumstances, focusing on one's purposes is very hard. We are too busy working on things we have never dreamed of and never wanted to be. We often don't accomplish our dreams, but our friends' dreams, our parent's dreams, etc. As if our life were any other person's life except ours. It is straightforward to do what your parents or friends advise you; it's even more convenient to become what you think they expect you to be.
When the situations are tougher, it is more difficult even to have a dream, let alone work on that specific dream for years. Because life seems shorter, and under this circumstance surviving is more likely getting to be the only motivation for your actions.
How can you dream when your family cannot afford food or shelter? How can you aspire to a great future when you haven't even seen one great life in your environment? How can you struggle for a better life when your life expectancy is very short?
Imagine that someone is ill and very close to death, and at the same time, they are working on a project that they will not have the chance to profit from; or a person who lives in a village where there are no schools and must walk for hours or even days to get education in another town.
It would have been simplest for those people to get stuck in their comfort zone. However, they firmly believe they have something to offer, even when most people in their environment urge them to give up.
I greatly respect those people; they deserve admiration and appreciation. They are true geniuses because they confront the impossible. However, we could have known more intelligent and dedicated people at a higher level if our society had been more caring and supportive.
How to help?
Sometimes we have nothing to lose or pay to help someone achieve their dream. Any successful person knows that the ultimate asset is connection. If we are in a position of power, we know what to do (some calls, some meetings, some types of promotion, etc.).
Nevertheless, we refuse to give our assistance. We assume that we have nothing to profit from that person or, even worst, because we don't want to be associated with their class or social group.
I don't mean we must support anyone approaching us with a creative idea or a specific problem they want to resolve. I acknowledge that we need to see if this would affect us or any other person involved in that project or idea.
However, if it is something that wouldn't have any binding effect and you can help, observe that person see if:
1) They work and learn a lot so that they can accomplish this dream
2) Everything (or most activities) they choose to do is linked to that specific dream
3) Their approach is different, and it aims to resolve a problem
4) They are very confident about their idea
5) They stick to that idea for a very long
If at least four of these factors apply to that person, it's a sign that you should help them if you can because it is possible that they only want one person to boost them to get to their dream.
Remember that there is no genius without people who have helped, believed in, and supported them. If you cannot be a genius, maybe you can be part of some genius' life.
