Sickness-Cancer: Does God Give Cancer to This Child? Part 2

Humans are faced with the consequences of sickness, cancer of every kind, diabetes, glaucoma, hardship, thorns, thistles, etc.

“Obviously, God is more interested in our spiritual health than our physical well-being, but He does want us to be physically healthy as well. On the other hand, disease is a result of Adam’s sin, and even the most righteous may suffer. After all, Job was righteous, but God allowed him to suffer disease and hardship.

My faith brought healing too. I too was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The doctor wanted to mutilate my body. He wanted to remove both my breasts.

Did I sin?

It wasn’t because of any sin I had committed.

Was God lost or absent when the doctor gave me this diagnosis?

No.

He was right there beside me strengthening and comforting me, telling me I did not have this disease.

“No, I don’t have cancer,” I protested.

He ordered me to get a second opinion, which I did and received the same response.

“I do not have cancer!” My Faith, my friend, and my God who was beside me all this time convinced me I did not have this disease. He was not silent, deaf, or dumb.

It was my faith in this friend that kept me up to today.

Both doctors in two years gave me the same diagnosis, and my friend was there and gave me the same answer.

“You don’t have cancer,” I believed.

I went into prayer and fasting, and it was the Lord himself who spoke to me clearly that I do not have cancer.

Again, is it because I sinned?

No

Did God put cancer in me?

No.

We are living in a corrupt and sinful world filled with so many evil and man—made atrocities feeding us with tainted synthetic foods, cloned animals, and medicines that were not designed for our bodies….

I have a friend, but he is not an imaginary one. I see him daily and he speaks to me through his words and prayers. We have a very close relationship. When I was going through my storm, the waves were dashing violently against the rocks.

He was my strength and comfort. He told me not to be afraid.

Turns out that my God was right. I didn’t have cancer.

When children get some rare forms of cancer, or other diseases, instead of blaming God, we should have compassion mingled with thanksgiving, prayer, and faith for healing. I have proven prayer and faith do work. I know that God is a healer and will completely heal us according to his will and plan for life.

My middle child has asthma and every time she has an attack I take her to the doctor. The doctor constantly prescribed prednisone to clear up the lungs and Ventolin as a rescue. I am not saying they do not help, but they are just a band-aid at the root of the asthma. While we sit again waiting for the change of weather or the simple cold to flare up again.

I know there is a God who is a healer. I had proven him before and knew he could heal my child. Asthma was nothing too hard for him to move. What is asthma?

According to research, asthma is a chronic condition that inflames and narrows the airways in the lungs (https://www.lung.org/lung-health-diseases). The research further says it can be serious, even life-threatening and death. They say there is no cure for asthma, but it can be managed so you live a normal, healthy life. I beg to differ. A person who suffers from asthma can be healed.

It was not God’s fault my child was born with asthma. From a Biblical perspective, all diseases including asthma, its root cause is sin, the result of Adam and Eve’s disobedience.

However, Jesus Christ is the Great Physician, the Balm in Gilead. I knew if I lifted my faith in him and prayed asking for healing, he could do it. The doctors can do so much but they cannot heal.

I am not giving the doctor or nurses that power that belongs to God.

They need our prayers. It is God who has the final say. The doctor is an instrument in God’s hands, and God has the final say. The doctors do their part to operate on the person, but if it is God’s will for that person to be healed, then so it be.

A 2014 study conducted by The Mind Health Report confirmed that people who engage in private prayer, intercessory prayer, and church activities are healthier and live longer.

I thanked them for their service, but it’s my creator that saved me.

So, when I pray and give thanks to God for healing, restoration, or protection, I don’t pray to the air or any imaginary friend, I have a friend in Jesus who sticks closer than a brother. The God I pray to, praise, worship, and offer thanksgiving, has ears to hear, a heart that displays love and compassion, eyes that see, and hands that can touch our infirmities.

I do not pray to idols, that is wood and stone. I do not worship my car, house, or job, not even my family. I pray and leave everything in God’s hands.

If you know this man and have a relationship with him, don’t leave any door open for the enemy to come in to destroy your faith.
