Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, R. Kelly, Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Chris Noth, and England’s Prince Andrew are a few powerful and famous males accused of sexual crimes lately.
Some of these men have lost their jobs, dignity, respect, family, and more. Some have lost their freedom.
Lawsuits are being filed against them too.
I wonder. What is the mystery behind sex that has caused multiple males and females to destroy the good life they got for a moment of pleasure that has caused them a lifetime of pain? In their greed or addiction to sex, they not only wreck their lives but their children’s lives and other family members.
Then there is the trauma that their victims and family have to endure. My pain is still alive more than forty-five years later as a former victim. My life went on, but my pain didn’t.
Sex was here before me, and it will be here long after I am gone.
The things I love and enjoy, I want them to last as long as I am alive. So I must do certain things to ensure that I am alive and have the freedom to enjoy the things that give me pleasure.
Sorry, I lack the experience and understanding of why I would wreck my life for a few moments of pleasure. Growing up in a developing country, I have seen how too much sex has contributed to poverty, hunger, and high crimes. (Sex has contributed to a lot more destruction)
My mother had six children. Her resources could barely maintain one child.

Now I know why sex crimes and the abuse of females will never stop. According to the number above, only 25,000 perps per 1,000,000 will end up in prison, which is excellent news for them. And the ones with power and wealth are sure they will get away with it. This is terrifying news for females, all victims, the families of their victims, and our world. This news is devastating for future victims too. And this is why many sex crimes will go unreported. These perps know that they will win before entering the race.
What kind of world are we living in?
Rape and other sexual assaults statistics are commonly available in advanced countries and are becoming more common. Large numbers of rapes go unreported throughout the world. Rape is a crime. There is a link between poverty and crime. Yet some of the poorest countries in our world aren’t in the top ten. Why not? As a female, someone being born and raised in an emerging country, and also the victim of sexual assault. Should I be happy there isn’t a link to sexual violence or sex crimes and poverty?
Can that be proven?

For me, the most admirable men are the ones who have no interest in me as a female. This is out of frustration, and numerous sexual harassment episodes from I was a child.
Since I was younger than ten years old, I’ve been harassed sexually. In those days, they didn’t have a name for it. Nor any organization to protect women’s rights. They do now. The newest is the Me Too movement, which is doing a great job helping women and revealing Sex crimes committed years ago. They are getting results too.
Because of sex, I cannot form a friendly non-sexual relationship with males. I tried years ago, and they want more. I don’t.
In my all-girls Catholic high school, they tell us that our bodies are a temple of the Lord and that we shouldn’t abuse the Lord’s temple. They also said that sex is something beautiful that God created for responsible, mature adults to express and share their love for each other. Also, to be fruitful and multiply.
Really?
I haven’t seen anything like that in more than thirty years. I also don’t know three couples who have been married for more than twenty years. Heck, I don’t personally know ten couples still married, but I know many divorced ones.

Sorry again. I’m marveled at some of the things humans will do for sex. So much that they are willing to keep enjoying and pleasuring themselves with whomever no matter the cost to their lives, family, their victims, and their families and friends too.
In my culture, many assume that the number of children you have tells how much you love sex.
Really?
My mother had six. After my father left, I have never seen her with another male. He was the only male her children saw in her life. And I do know hundreds of women who remain single after losing their husbands or boyfriend.
The value, respect, and decency of sex and marriage hadn’t been seen in this generation in a long time.
Many children are the product of love. Others are the product of rape, incest, one-night-stands, the condom broke, she-said-she-was-on-the-pill-so-I didn’t-use-a-condom. He is so handsome and smart. I just wanted to have his baby. There is always a reason behind the birth of a child.
This part I don’t get, “They love sex and are willing to break laws, hearts, and everything else to keep feeding. Murder and rape are the most horrific. Then they find themselves on the other side of the law, where they lose all of their freedom.
Their sexual freedom of choice is gone too.
I wonder, was it Ego that contributed to their demise?
Did they use their power, position, looks, wealth, greed for sex to get what they want from whomever they fancy sexually?

So is having an ego bad? Meena Jain, a psychologist, and psychotherapist observes: “Healthy ego is essential to one’s self-esteem, as opposed to an inflated ego that can destroy relationships.”
Adds Shantha: “What matters is how one manages the Ego. Over manifestation suggests that you consider yourself a cut above the rest. This becomes a tool to belittle others, and the outcome is not always pleasant.”
Egotistic men are the most hated. It’s not a tool when used to cause harm to anyone. It becomes a weapon.
Belittling others comes in many forms. Sexually seems to be the most significant and pleasant one.
Shantha says the touchy areas include “finance, women, and the questioning of their authority. Men are touchy about anything that involves decisions. They love to be the decision-makers. And, when they make a decision, they need to hear they are right — even if they are wrong”.
Being right ends at the green light. Being wrong must learn from the red and yellow light. So more lessons are there from the other two lights.
Jain suggests: “Help them develop good communication skills and a healthy ego, very important to building their life and relationships.”

These are just a few of the thirty men accused of sex crimes. They all are in a position of power.
I was ALMOST raped twice as a child. That incident has redesigned my brain while increasing my awareness and alertness, especially around men. That incident forced me to listen to my instincts every time. It sharpens my senses, allowing me to read the want and hunger in the eyes of most of the males I come in contact with. I remembered both incidents clearly up to my feeling at the moment. The men, place, time, and day. What was said. How it was said. The smile on their faces. The pleasure of what to come, and the desire in their eyes. Even though I am experiencing Brain Fog due to menopause and now COVID 19, my memory and pain refused to yield more than forty-five years later.
As my knowledge and wisdom increased, my awareness doubled. I avoid all contact and communication with males if I don’t have to. I go to the extreme by also avoiding my husband’s friends. Even in all business transactions too.
And it’s not limited to Doctors if I have a choice. Due to my traumatic experience, I don’t give males unnecessary access to me. Thanks to Almost, I dress down and don’t allow men to touch me. I don’t take their money or anything offered to me. I do nothing to call attention to myself as a female.
In my community and everyone who knows me, I am the quiet one. I am the lady who talks to no one. I have built up a reputation for being that way. My secret and reason for isolating myself is unknown to them, but not to you. Lol.
Sadly for me, in my culture, and because of men’s hunger for control, all of what I do doesn’t help me how it should.
They find my reaction to the trauma I experienced and my self-imposed isolation a good quality in a female. Some husbands and boyfriends are happier if their spouse or wife has no friends. Double satisfied if they have no male friends. And triple pleased if they live a life of avoiding unnecessary communications with both sexes. They don’t have to share you with anyone.
As females, can we escape sexual desire from males?
How we look and carry ourselves helps or hinds us.
Does being born a female mean I must provide sex for males?
Even if I don’t want to?
I wonder why some females decided to enter the Convent to become Nuns.
Were they assaulted as children?
It’s a good thing I am smart and am good with my finance. I don’t need men for money.
I really don’t want to know why sex is used as a weapon to self-destruct. Sometimes my curiosity grabs control, and I lose myself for a minute. Lol
