Lorenzo pulls his hood up and walks into the forest. You get to your feet and follow, avoiding Dara’s disappointed gaze.

You walk for hours.

The night sky gradually starts to brighten as dawn approaches. Lorenzo has led you to a desolate landscape, rocky and barren with a few dead shrubs protruding from the ashy soil. You see the trail end at a craggy cave entrance near the foot of a mountain.

“Not much farther now.” Lorenzo says as the maw of the cave comes into view.

You’re having second thoughts about your agreement, maybe it’s possible to escape…
