Red lights signify braking. Make sure your body and mind take breaks throughout the day. On a macro level, make sure you take real time off from work, stressors, and people throughout the year.
Red is the color of the blood flowing throughout our bodies. Engage in stretching and physical exercise to keep the blood flowing.
Red days in the stock market are expected. Stay your course and invest for the long-term. Financial care is self-care.
Red is the color of love… spend time with loved ones and show kindness and respect to all.
🧡 Orange
Oranges provide a refreshing experience. To many of us, they smell good, taste delicious, and add color to salads and other dishes. Oranges are rich in vitamin C.
In some cultures, people offer oranges and tangerines as gifts to family and friends.
If you like oranges, enjoy them! Also have fun picking oranges, peeling oranges for children, squeezing oranges to make juice, sharing oranges with loved ones.
💛 Yellow
In most illustrations, the sun is depicted as yellow or golden. Spend time in sunny places. The sun’s radiance can boost your mood, warm your body, soothe your joints, and make you smile.
A sunny day is perfect for an outdoor solo journaling session or a picnic with some cousins or buddies.
A yellow traffic light means slow down. Slow living contributes to stress relief, financial stability, and mindfulness. Yellow is a bright, brilliant color… let it bring you joy.
💚 Green
Oh Green! The many benefits associated with the color green! Green means go — engage in self-care by going for your dreams, reaching for your goals. Dream big, think big!
Green is the color of nature — tall, strong redwood trees, a tiny sprout. Spending time in nature suits anyone from the senior in her golden years to the newborn baby napping in his stroller amidst the fresh cool air.
Healthy delights include green tea, green salads, the ever-so-trendy avocado toast. Indulge in matcha or mint chip ice cream alone or with a friend.
Green days in the market call for celebration! Celebrate getting that much closer to your financial goals.
💙 Blue
Blue represents calm and relaxation. It is said to be a peaceful color and is the most popular for educational presentation backgrounds. Let blue remind you to exercise your mind through reading, meditating, playing games.
The blueberry might be the only blue fruit but it’s an amazing one. Enjoy a blueberry, the antioxidant poster child, as often as you’d like.
Lay on the grass and delight in the vast blue sky. Or hop on a plane and appreciate the sky’s brilliance on your way to a self-care retreat.
💜 Purple
Some cultures associate purple with royalty, wealth, and luxury. Let’s use this as a reminder to be grateful for everything that we have in life and to always treat ourselves like we are royalty and treat others like they are royalty. Everyone deserves kindness and generosity. And what better feeling is there than the way you feel when you are kind and generous to others.
As for wealth and luxury, self-care means becoming financially literate and managing your money so that you may reap the benefits of financial stability.
Purple feels more rare than the other colors. Take a nature walk and look for vibrant purple flowers. Take in the scent of lavender which is said to improve mood and anxiety.

A stunning sunset involves all the colors and feelings of the rainbow. Take a mindful moment to watch a sunset by yourself or with someone.
