Sea Kelp
Pier 21 Prompt Response
Siren Song
A siren, so bonny and fair, With seaflowers entwined in her hair, She sang a haunting tune, Beneath the bright moon, Before dragging sailors down to her lair.
Sea Kelp
There once was a man who collected sea kelp But something went wrong and he began to yelp, For he’d gotten all caught up in the net! Crying out to his monkey, his beloved pet, “Save me, oh Lord, save me, Ollie — seek help!”
Seagull
Many a time, I saw a seagull Flying maddeningly about the ship’s hull He’d shriek and swoop past my head Steal my fish and shit on my bread So one day, I shot a bullet through his skull!
