NOODLE PROMPT/SCOTCH EGGS

Scotch Eggs

Every day is a new adventure

I had never heard of Scotch eggs before today. Now I want to eat them.

Some new experiences and adventures await, just around the bend. Being open to the possibilities in life keeps us alive, whether those possibilities are for a new food or movie, a job or vacation, a friend or a lover.

As we grow older, we can choose whether to be the type of person whose life becomes smaller every day as we limit our choices to those things we already know we enjoy, or to be someone whose world is constantly expanding because we are always willing to try something new.

In my 50s, I got a Masters’ degree and started a business. When I turned 65, I began working out at a gym. One can only imagine what I’ll do in my 70s.

Here’s another response to this prompt by Dennett, the first person on Medium to encourage me to try something new and write for her publication.
