Have you ever been too afraid to tell somebody that you love them? Or do you just want to try out something different?

I have always been the kind of person who lets others know that they are worth my time. Whether that be my immediate family members, my friends, or my significant other, I enjoy warming them up with gestures and words.

However, sometimes the sentence, “I love you,” loses its meaning if said too many times. Other people might have a hard time saying these three words even if they actually do love that person.

Fortunately enough, there are other ways to express love. It’s just about finding what you’re comfortable with.

Here are 20 ways to say “I love you” without saying it.

#1: Listen and show approval

You can show that you love them by being outwardly nice and kind. Actively listen to them and respond appropriately.

When you nod as they speak, you are showing that you care about what they are saying.

#2: Give gifts

Nothing is better than giving a loved one a gift. It doesn’t matter if it’s a handwritten letter or a box of chocolates, it shows that you care.

#3: Cuddles and snuggles

Is there anything else to say? This is a very intimate and affectionate way of showing that you want your cherished ones nearby.

Having a movie night in a tight-knit blanket or a cozy night in bed are just a couple of ways to reveal love.

#4: Loosen up a bit

If you are comfortable around someone you love, then you should automatically open up with both your feelings and body.

Sit with a warm posture. Have a warm and bright smile on your face when you’re around them.

#5: Soft caresses

Light feather strokes warm a person up. It helps the other person relax but also provides some pleasure.

If your partner mentions that they are stressed or strained, offer them a massage or reduce some of their daily burdens.

Holding the hand of a loved one creates a form of trust and affection. An intimate bond is created and it sends signals of protection and safety.

When you feel safe with a partner, you don’t want to be separated.

#7: Eyes contact

Eyes say a lot more than words. The dilation of pupils when looking at the loved one is a sign that you like them. That batting of eyes and sultry look can melt anyone up.

Eyes can show deep affection and desire.

#7: “I care about you”

To care for someone is to care about their feelings and well-being. Saying “I care about you,” tells the other person that you love them and would not like to see them get hurt in any manner.

Time is really invaluable, so saying this carries a lot of weight.
