Say Goodbye to Traditional Notetaking and Hello to Evernote and Craft in 2023!

Revolutionize your notetaking with Evernote and Craft.

Created by the author on Canva

As a lifetime notetaker and chronic list-maker, I've experimented with every available notetaking program. In addition, I've utilized sticky notes, index cards, and paper planners.

But in 2023, it's time to say goodbye to traditional notetaking and hello to Evernote and Craft.

A few years ago, I discovered Evernote and Craft, which have altered how I organize and keep track of my life.

These apps have become necessary, and I need help to fathom returning to traditional notetaking methods.

Evernote: The best app for taking notes.

Evernote is a cloud-based notetaking application that allows you to collect, organize, and share notes in several file formats. Making text notes, voice recordings, photographs, and web pages is possible.

The best feature is that everything is kept in the cloud, allowing you to access your notes from any device.

One of my favorite features of Evernote is the flexibility to create several notebooks for various elements of my life. There are journals for business, personal projects, recipes, and even trip arrangements.

Inside each notebook, I can write multiple notes with tags to assist me in quickly locating the information I need.

For example, when planning a trip, I make a notebook and create separate notes for each component, including flights, hotel bookings, and activities.

I can tag each note with the city's name or the sort of activity, making it easier to discover the information I need on the fly.

I enjoy Evernote's ability to clip web pages and publications into the application. I can save recipes, articles, and even entire web pages to my notebooks with the Evernote web clipper.

This is very useful for research and project planning.

Craft: The Next Generation Notetaking App.

While Evernote is excellent for gathering and organizing notes, Craft takes note-taking to a higher level.

Craft is a relatively new program that blends the best aspects of traditional notetaking with contemporary design and collaboration features.

The lovely design is one of the reasons I enjoy Craft. Notes are presented in a clean, contemporary layout that makes them simple to read and organize. With the option to include images and other media, notes become more than a simple text list.

Craft's robust collaboration features make it an ideal tool for distributed teams. For example, sharing notes and communicating in real-time facilitates collaboration on a project or presentation.

Craft's capacity to create nested notes is one of my favorite aspects. This allows you to construct sub-notes within a more prominent note, making it simple to organize information hierarchically.

For instance, I utilize this tool to arrange my research for my writing assignments. First, I construct a main note for the project and then sub-notes each research topic.
