Roadmap Out of Lockdown Finally Announced by the Premier

It has been a long and bumpy journey through the Covid-19 pandemic, but at last Melbourne sees the new normal on the horizon as we know there is a roadmap out of lockdown.

Sunday just gone, Premier Daniel Andrews announced the long-awaited roadmap out of lockdown for Melbourne and all of Victoria. The primary focus of it is the vaccination rates of those who can be vaccinated. As we hit certain milestones of percentages of people having their first jab and then second, restrictions on social gatherings, travel, shopping, and more will fall away. Finally!

This youtube video is of the premier making the announcement. The roadmap details begin at 11:15.

We still have 4–6 weeks to go but at least there is a target to aim for. I am going to take every restriction easing I’ve earned and meet with friends daily if at all possible.
