Unwrapping the Gift of Freedom from France
I respect the ideals of liberty, freedom and justice for all. I mined meaning (for the poem below) from a replica of the Statue of Liberty, spotted while walking the grounds of Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, France.

To Thee I Sing A Gift From France Let Freedom Ring
Across America Hardly Anyone Knew Your Story Was Changed To Conceal The Truth
You Were Designed For All To See That Breaking Chains Made ALL Americans FREE
Copper Colored Your Original Sheen National Greed and Envy Turned You Green
A History of Lies Is What You Hold A Shift Is Coming Your Real Story Will Be Told
The Light You Shine Glows Bright As Day It Wakes Us Up By Illuminating A Better Way
