Summary

The website content is a poetic reflection on the resilience and evolution of humanity in the face of environmental crises and the rediscovery of hope and love, inspired by the writings of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.

Abstract

The poem "Rediscovery of Fire" paints a vivid picture of a future where humanity is confronted with the consequences of its actions—barren lands, poisoned rivers, and a scorched sky. Despite the bleak outlook, the poem conveys a message of hope and resilience. It suggests that, even in the midst of despair, humanity will find a way to rekindle its spirit and evolve beyond its current limitations. The poem is a call to cherish what is truly important, to let go of negativity and hate, and to rediscover love and the metaphorical fire that drives human progress. It is inspired by the philosophical and spiritual writings of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, which often explore the potential for human evolution and the convergence of matter and spirit.

Rediscovery of Fire

A poem

Someday, when all our hopes have faded all our dreams are torn asunder and all our resources have been raided a glimmer of wild hope will shine Someday, when all our lands are sterile all our rivers have been poisoned and the sky is scorched and vile our cold hearts will be rekindled

Someday, when the Sea is beyond control Antarctica and Greenland have melted and sea waters have taken a heavy toll a new discovery will show us the way

Someday, when Nature says ‘Enough!’ employing all its weapons to wipe us out Earth’s survivors will have it rough but at the end humanity will tough it out

Someday, when despair and fear perish vanquished by a blinding hope we’ll understand what we should cherish and let go of negativity and hate

That day, we will rediscover Love that day we will rediscover fire we will then evolve far beyond our mundane plane and thrive

Inspired by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s writings.
