Readers, You can Beta on It
Your guaranteed 100% chance to win a book

Thanks to the platform magic of the Amazing Dr Mehmet Yildiz, I’ve been allowed to introduce my new novel, Murders of the Sixth Kind in the publication ILLUMINATION Book Chapters. I was also given a very nice (unsolicited) promo by one of the publication’s editors, the ever popular Britni Pepper. I love free publicity. Read that post here:
I know, shameless self-promotion. But isn’t that what this platform in all about?
I posted the first 5 chapters on IBC for your preview. The link below will give you the links to all five for your reading pleasure. As I used to say to my high school English students, I strongly encourage you to do so. 👽
This new novel (MSK for short) is the second in my Legends of Tsalagee mystery series. The release date hasn’t been set, but I expect it will be late summer, early fall of this year. In the meantime, I’m looking for beta readers.
You might well ask, “What’s a beta reader and what’s required?” Here’s my answer: A beta reader is one step below an alpha reader, but way above an omega reader. For MSK, here’s what’s required:
- I will send you an Advance Reader Copy (meaning it ain’t perfect) in digital format.
- You read the book in a timely fashion.
- You let me know where I screwed up.
- I get huffy about your suggestions, and you write an honest review on Amazon prior to its release (I’ll let you know).
So, if you like murder mysteries that are kind of quirky and humorous (see Carl Hiaasen, Janet Evanovich), please sign up for this one. If interested, visit my website and contact me via email for more information. Please put “MSK Beta Reader” in the subject line.
Thanks for tuning in. Shout outs to these supporters: Teresa Kuhl, Frank Kelso, Sooner Woodard, Jay Toran, Noorain Hassan, BMS, Stuart Englander, Liam Ireland, Claire Kelly, Maria Rattray, Warren Brown, A Rustic Mind (Manali Desai), Floyd Mori, Lanu Pitan, Madoc Maduka, Bebe Nicholson, Tree Langdon, Fatim Hemraj, Carla Woody, Linda Halladay, Dr. Preeti Singh, Karen Madej, Amanda Walker
