Reaching Zero Mail Inbox Effortlessly

Wipe out the spam from your inbox forever in no time

Are you annoyed by the daily spam Emails which you get notified about and regularly get distracted from it? Or Do you hate the numbers on top of the App which shows the Unread emails in bold Red?

I find it extremely annoying when people have 10000+ unread emails. A lot can be spoken about a person, by their email’s unread count.

I would like to give a really quick and easy tip to organize your emails once and for all.

An email account is entirely something in your hands, and to maintain an efficient inbox should not have any excuses — Author

Below are the steps to clean your inbox and to maintain it for the long run.

Steps to clear your inbox:

  • Probably all the important emails have already been read by you.
  • Now, create a new folder Archive, select all the emails in your inbox and drop them into it. (This way you don’t even delete the mails just in case you need them in the future, and your inbox looks so much cleaner).
  • Now you have 0 emails in the inbox, great! (Job is not done yet)
  • Now dedicate 10 minutes to your email for just 21 days and unsubscribe from the new incoming mails which you find as spam. Just do it for 21 days and you will stop getting the SPAM Emails.
  • This way you will only receive the important mails after 21 days and you will be amazed how the Five-digit read email count reduced to almost Zero.

Steps to maintain your inbox :

  • Folders and Labels are simple and powerful, please use them.
  • Create a Folder/Sub-Folder for each of your email categories and subdivide them into Sub-Folders (Like Work, Interviews, University, and many more…)
  • If an email is not Spam, but still you don’t have any action point on it, delete it straight away
  • Reply to an email if it can be done within 2 minutes.
  • If the Email needs your reply AND you need more time, put the email in Action Required Label until you have responded.
  • If the Email doesn’t need your reply, but it carries some information that you need later, put it in the correct folder.
My 3 most important Labels (By Author)
  • Create Labels like Action Required, Important, and Awaiting Response. This way you can visit the ones which need some action quickly

(Quick Tip — Start the Label Names with * so GMail puts them on the top as they are sorted alphabetically)

  • This way you will never miss out on an important email (Job Updates, Offers etc)
  • You will be able to search for an important email quite effortlessly.

This is the method I’ve used, and in total (University, Work, All Personal) I have more than 5 Accounts and none of them have unread emails more than Ten at the moment. My Email is well organized and clean, and I can be extremely quick in finding the important ones.
