Quality Versus Quantity
What is our basis for the decisions we make?
My friend commented that he’s drinking two cups of coffee a day, instead of a pot. I remarked that it’s because he’s enjoying quality over quantity. You see, for his birthday, my husband and I got him a grinder and some higher quality beans that I know he had been eyeing and would never purchase himself.
He paused and agreed. “Actually, that’s true. I never thought about that and my health as improved.”
How often do we unknowingly sacrifice quality over quantity?
From the foods we consume to how we write on a platform like Medium — what is our basis for the decisions we make? At what point do we choose quality or quantity?
I am trying to hone my writing skills, imposter syndrome is really creeping back in these days; I need to slow down and spend more time developing ideas and editing.
Such efforts yielded this piece, certainly not a shortie — but I hope, “a goodie” (and my heart on “a page”).
