Quality Versus Quantity

What is our basis for the decisions we make?

Photo by Pascal Debrunner on Unsplash — Nature provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy both quality and quantity at any given moment.

My friend commented that he’s drinking two cups of coffee a day, instead of a pot. I remarked that it’s because he’s enjoying quality over quantity. You see, for his birthday, my husband and I got him a grinder and some higher quality beans that I know he had been eyeing and would never purchase himself.

He paused and agreed. “Actually, that’s true. I never thought about that and my health as improved.”

How often do we unknowingly sacrifice quality over quantity?

From the foods we consume to how we write on a platform like Medium — what is our basis for the decisions we make? At what point do we choose quality or quantity?

I am trying to hone my writing skills, imposter syndrome is really creeping back in these days; I need to slow down and spend more time developing ideas and editing.

Such efforts yielded this piece, certainly not a shortie — but I hope, “a goodie” (and my heart on “a page”).

Let me know your thoughts. How and when does a choice between quality and quantity show itself in your life?
