QAnon — Madness Going Mainstream
Let’s know something about this logic-defying QAnon

Let’s talk about something rubbish!
Believe it or not — some crazy people will always be there to make your day.
Sometimes you’ll be confused about how you should react to their activities. Yes, I’m talking about the QAnon followers who are doing everything to make a fool out of themselves. And, no doubt, they are doing great.
Let’s know a few things about this new lunacy that goes mainstream.
What is QAnon?
To understand QAnon, you must tell your brain to stop thinking rationally. Just read and don’t try to reason it. Because QAnon doesn’t make any sense to the people who have brains inside their heads.
QAnon is a weird far-right conspiracy theory that says that President Trump is leading a secret war against the top Stanic paedophiles in government, business and the media.
It claims that dozens of Satan-worshipping politicians and top-celebrities are working together with the government to engage in child sex abuse.
You already understand that no part of the theory is based on fact. Read that line again.
Yes, this is the truth.

How did this madness begin?
QAnon followers are the Pro-Trump ones who believe the Satanic ‘deep state’ is plotting against Trump and his supporters. They also consider that Trump is the epitome of all goodness and justice and in complete control of everything.
This madness began on October 28, 2017, when an anonymous user now widely referred to as “Q” appeared for the first time on 4chan, in a thread called “Calm Before the Storm”. 4chan is a so-called imageboard known for its grotesque memes, sickening photographs, and brutal teardown culture.
The Guardian reported, since then, Q has continued to drop “breadcrumbs” on 4chan and 8chan, fostering a “QAnon” community devoted to decoding Q’s messages and understanding the real truth about, well, everything.
These messages became known as “Q drops” or “breadcrumbs”, often written in cryptic language peppered with slogans, pledges and pro-Trump themes. All of this spreads rapidly (especially, in this time of COVID-19 pandemic) through platforms like Reddit, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
What do the QAnon followers believe?
Okay. Get ready for the fun part.
QAnon followers believe in so many eerie things. And, I can guarantee that you’ll be entertained by most of their beliefs. Let’s have a glance at some of them.

There are tons of false claims and misinformation out there on the Internet. Even at the beginning of this QAnon conspiracy theories, they posted that Hillary Clinton will soon be arrested and executed.
But the most shocking thing is — an increasing number of people starts to believe and spread this QAnon madness.
No wonder! Commonsense left its existence from those people’s brain.
QAnon Slogan
Well, they have a slogan too. And that is — ‘Where we go one, we go all’.

What Does President Trump Say about QAnon?
Don’t you think he will be happy about it? I mean, we all know how an attention-seeking person he is. So, when asked about the QAnon stuff, here is what President Trump said.
“I don’t know much about the movement other than I understand they like me very much, which I appreciate” — President Trump said in the White House briefing room.
When asked about the QAnon-belief that he is secretly saving the world from Satanic cult of paedophiles and cannibals, Trump said, “Well, I haven’t heard that, but is that supposed to be a bad thing or a good thing?”
“If I can help save the world from problems, I’m willing to do it,” he went on. “I’m willing to put myself out there. And we are, actually, we’re saving the world from a radical left philosophy that will destroy this country.”
You may hear his great (!) take on QAnon in CNN Politics as well.
How QAnon has become a mainstream topic?
It’s all because of social media platforms where madness knows no bound.
You know, how it works. Especially in this time of COVID-19 pandemic, people on social platforms are getting bored and waiting for something dumb to take on their indolent brains. And that is what exactly happened.
Though the QAnon thing started on the darker corners of the internet, it flourished on social media. Thanks to Facebook and other platforms, QAnon goes viral during this pandemic time attracting many followers around the world.
It attracted celebrities like Roseanne Barr and former MLB pitcher Curt Schilling.
In July 2020, Twitter removed 7,000 accounts tied to QAnon citing violations of its multi-account policy, coordinated abuse targeting individual victims, and attempts to evade previous account suspensions.
The Conversation reported on August 24, 2020, that last week, Facebook deleted over 790 groups, 100 pages and 1,500 ads tied to QAnon and restricted the accounts of hundreds of other Facebook groups and thousands of Instagram accounts.
What can we do?
This is very simple. Just act like a sane person. That is enough.
Check before believing in any sh*t people and the Internet tell you. Use common sense and don’t trigger panic.
And, don’t argue with QAnon followers. Give them time to come back to sanity and consciousness.
Have a sensible life.
