ARC OF THE IMMORTALS/ Book 1 — Part 2
Pursuit: 55/ Fracturing Begins
Recap: In Bendel’s confusion, he guns the engine causing a main power failure, and passes out. Baz puts a helmet on Bendel’s head. As Bendel awakens power restores itself on the Nez Fish. Jac makes a

— to-do list: Apollo Capsule, the energy between age jumps, moving the three realities in the well (probe, Needlecraft, Touzdae). Yon, Jac’s advisor and companion when they entered the Platform appears and guides him in manifesting the plan. Jac hears Touzdae’s plea for help.
Nez Fish clears the gasses. / Jac connects himself to his image in the jail cell. Jumps with the cloaked capsule to the well and is slapped by a paradox tendril. / Bendel fires beams of electrical energy at a space fish. It is stunned but keeps moving. / Jac does the 27-breath meditation. / The power on the Nez turns on and off in sync with Jac’s access of the energy.
Jac funnels the energy down into the well. He directs a love-generated beam around Touzdae. The energy waves go faster and stop. The capsule falls into the Well.
As Jac’s Apollo Capsule was pulled down into the thick of paradox rings of the Well. As the capsule drew down toward the bottom of the well, it began to implode. A wide photon beam aimed at the exact center of the well polarized the probe and the Needlecraft. The Apollo Capsule plunged further down into the chaos region of the well. It cleared the well. Thrown out of The Well of Souls it was.
The Capsule tumbled end over end about a lightyear from the well. It traveled in a spiral trajectory; Jac unconscious. The spirit of Peace Jac travels out beyond the capsule. Jac watched from Dreamtime.
Peace Jac was in a ball or a fetal position. His Spirit encountered the Golden Arc. He traveled in the arc across three galaxies to Earth of the distant past. Caught in a second beam he traveled a hundred thousand years in the past. Deposited in a barren mountainous region, alive. Though unconscious near a confluence light/dark fountain, every nerve on fire. Dark clouds rolled overhead.
In an instant, he flew back into his spirit body and back into the capsule. The spiral path reversed to the well. When he impacted his body in the capsule it went backward. He awakened. The capsule returned to the center of the well and above it. The capsule was drawn in again. His reunited spirit transported back to the Nez. To the realm. In his body.
Touzdae was reunited with all her bodies into one body. She found herself sitting in the pilot’s seat aboard the Needlecraft. She was in and out of consciousness; groggy.
The body of the probe was below the Needlecraft. The capsule was where the probe had been. The instruments of the probe were inside the capsule and trained on the shell of the probe. The telemetry of the shell of the probe was distorted to appear as if it were the Needlecraft. Touzdae and Maja, the AI, ensconced in the Needlecraft high above the paradox rings.
Thank you Jac, she sent her thought filled with love and gratefulness.
“Bring up the cloak,” Bendel said smiling.
“Operational,” Harry reported. Bendel looked at the read-outs. The screen read: 100% cloaked. He exhaled.
The ion fusion drive brought the ship within three thousand feet of the creature. Bendel killed the drive. Momentum and plasma thrusters were enough to close the gap.
Jac found himself below the temple in the water. He was making his way toward the pool of life. I don’t know how I’m going to make it passed Luna’s half-life chamber and all those cables, he thought. ‘Trust the plan. Timing is everything, young Yon said in Jac’s mind.
“How’s the charging of the electric pulses?” Bendel demanded.
“Full charge in three, two, one.”
“Firing now.” Bendel flipped the toggle switches. Three electric lightning bolts ripped across one hundred feet onto the creature. The ship bolted, bow thrust upward.
Jac saw the transport membrane, violet and pink. He stepped into it.
The electric bolt ceased as it arrived on the beast. Jac was thrown through the pool of life onto the surrounding “ground”. He was convulsing.
“Alert — Intruder in the salon near the Half-Life Chamber,” Bendel’s computer yelled.
“Baz, check it out. Harry assist,” Bendel ordered.
Bendel flipped on one of the cameras he had installed. It was fixed on the top view screen on the Half-Life Chamber. “I need to cover that area with cameras,” he told himself.
“It’s Jac Kristos, soaking wet,” Baz reported.
“Bring him up here.”
“Jac’s in trouble,” Touzdae said to herself.
“If you’re thinking of bringing the ship out of this place, I do not advise it.”
“Why not?” Touzdae demanded.
“I have three reasons.”
“Let’s hear them.”
“Reason one — Psycho-physically you remain in crisis and are displaying dangerous impulsivity. Reason two — your physical condition: your body is in-shock. Heart rate elevated. Brainwave activity in dangerous areas. Reason three — to extricate ourselves in this ship out of the well would take three ships above the well.”
“Points taken,” Touzdae said with frustration.
Baz and Harry assembled a clear transdimensional cell in the center of the bridge and put Jac inside.
“Sarz will be arriving soon,” Bendel said.
“The seer?” Harry amazed.
“She’s not only a seer. I’m surprised you don’t remember, Harry. Sarz and Jac were partners about to join as life-partners before Jac backed out. This was at least 50 years before Touzdae.”
“Won’t she have a vendetta with him?”
“Exactly,” Bendel smiled triumphant.
