ARC OF THE IMMORTALS/ Book 1 — Part 2
Pursuit: 36/ A Dangerous Future
Recap: Von Deign ushers the silver craft skyward and depresses the button. The action hurdles him across the chamber; equals — knock out.
Recap continued: The Dark Ray machine fails to work. Touzdae assists Jac by partitioning the incoming data and returns to the station. Jac awakens as does Touzdae. They go down to the docks and inspect the new tech features of the Needlecraft. At the last moment, Jac collapses.

It came all at once in pieces and as a whole.
Jac saw Nez‘s kin before she agreed to the transformation into the ship. She became his surrogate Ma — Nez Fish. Bendel murdered Nez’s estranged kin in droves. Nez was being forced to watch by the sadist Bendel.
When Jac was a mere lad of 100 years he shared consciousness with his fama. His fama, Yon, relayed the events at the time of infant Jac’s birth. Fires broke out all over the ship — the Sol Rae. Hull breaches, electrical fires, and explosions were everywhere. All were suffering. Death was imminent. All seemed lost. An agreement was struck between Lapez, his fama — Yon, the Outer Space Being — to save all. To save all, except Nez’s newborn and Jac’s mafa. Jac saw and felt fama Yon’s experience, pain, suffering, and loss.
His body remembered it all.
And through the eyes of Bendel in the relative present, he saw the horror. The deaths of Nez’s kin were torture enough for lifetimes.
They re-triggered body memories of his newborn infancy. He convulsed in the aft cabin of the Nez Fish reconstructed on the Needlecraft.
His Spirit called out — “Why all this violence? It must end — Now!” It echoed in on himself, on his antarian body.
Blackness. Void. Nothing.
When he awoke, positioned in a half-prone, half-sitting position, Touzdae was there. She was falling asleep in a chair. He saw her; and did not speak. His skin tingled from the shock.
“It’s a future that needs changing,” he said into the air.
“What?” Touzdae awakened.
“I will change the future by preventing heinous acts in the present,” he said.
“Ah yes, the expanded present moment exercise,” she stated, exhausted.
Weary, she stood, walked towards the bed, and stripped off her clothing. She put herself beside him. “Say no more, Jac. Let’s sleep. We both need it.”
He was already asleep. She smiled and closed her eyes next to him. The lights faded corresponding to their slowing bio-rhythms.
Antarian light ebbed into the bedroom at a slow pace in the cycle of “morning”. Touzdae stirred. The air was cool. She nestled into Jac. He stirred and felt her skin soft touching him. Her love, his love. They each moved to the light of two souls as one.
“That feels so very good,” she said. “How do you do that?”
“It’s how love manifests for you and then me,” he whispered. “It happens because I love you with the whole of my being.”
Their touching led to a closeness of mind-bending, heart-blossoming surrender. With each cycled kundalini energy burst, the connections of heightened awareness increased. Through each other full-bodied orgasms formed and released light. Joined in oneness. Feathered through a higher vibrational stratosphere of a twelfth-dimensional cosmos of consciousness. Unconditional love flowed through them for each other; with each other. They bathed in the pure light.
Deep tensions released. And they surrendered in a mutual embrace.
In the bed of intimacy, they cuddled throughout the morning. When they finally arose a meal appeared courtesy of Geordae. It was cool; and easily reheated through the thermal regenerators.
“I’m agreeable to that. I could go there now. It might be better,” Touzdae said. She added, “It would be prudent, yes?”
“What?” Jac asked distracted.
“I want to consciousness transfer, you need to test the Needlecraft,” Touzdae said.
“That’s right,” Jac said. He showed her the picture of herself — her body in a cryo med tube aboard the ship.
“That’s what I’m talking about — ” her words passed into the thread of their telepathic conversation. Stand up, let’s go… my love.
Jac smiled and stood.
Touzdae opened the hatch at the end of the transdimensional space. The holographic barrier vanished as she put her right foot down into the tube. The tube transversed the exact center of the artificial singularity. Several feet into it she felt the static electricity building. The multiple discharges from the engine core were standard. In her mind, she called the medical-cryo capsule that doubled as an escape vehicle. It formed around her and sealed. In her mind, she flipped the readings to external for Jac. He saw them on his screen in the cockpit. Once seen, she flipped them off.
She began her meditation for consciousness transfer.
