Psychosis: The Line Between Reality And Delusion
A Story on the Reality of our world now.

Someone wise said, “Non-Reality is the enemy of the sane, but a friend of the insane.”
I got this idea from watching CNN and other news about the US 2020 Presidential Election.
I wonder, more than 72 million people voted for Donald Trump. He and his supporters believe he won. But in reality, he lost.
When humans have lost their grip on reality, science would say it’s a form of Psychosis.
According to the web site below on Mental Health:
https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/topics/schizophrenia/raise/what-is-psychosis.shtml
What is Psychosis?
The word psychosis is used to describe conditions that affect the mind, where there has been some loss of contact with reality. When someone becomes ill in this way it is called a psychotic episode. During a period of psychosis, a person’s thoughts and perceptions are disturbed and the individual may have difficulty understanding what is real and what is not. Symptoms of psychosis include delusions (false beliefs) and hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that others do not see or hear). Other symptoms include incoherent or nonsense speech, and behavior that is inappropriate for the situation.
Politics have dragged the worst from many humans all over the world. It has turned friends into enemies. Divide families and friends. And in some countries around the world, your political choice could cost your life.
What is going through the minds of the more than 72 million people who have lost their grip on reality? What about the ones who believe that a Pandemic, that has already killed more than 1.3 million people around the world is a hoax? What about the ones who are partying in large numbers and being in close contact with others with no mask on? Despite warning on the importance of social distancing.
The ones who are ignoring the science, even with the deaths of their families and friends? The ones who refuse to protect themselves and others by wearing a mask? The ones who don’t know the difference between winning and losing?
This thought is terrifying in the middle of an uncontrollable Pandemic.
Can commonsense prevail?
Does humanity really want Reality?
Reality meaning according to the dictionary: the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them.
Mental Health problems are BIGGER than any one of us thinks.
