President Trump’s Second Term Is Going Much Better than Expected

Exclusive press release from the President

During my first term, I could see how staffers and journalists were not used to working under pressure. Real businessmen like me can do that all day, but these Washington people don’t know what it means to be efficient under tight deadlines.

You wouldn’t believe how many staff members I had to micro-manage.

Everybody wanted my opinion and signature on every paper. “It’s important,” people would say. “It’s a matter of national security,” they would add.

Well, one needs to learn how to prioritize. That’s business and administration 101.

The to-do list is always long, and the topics are all crucial if you don’t pay attention. Prioritize and focus on the top two / three issues if you want to be good at anything. That’s what I always say.

It was VERY frustrating.

But I realized it was not their fault. Nobody had taught them to be accountable and proactive before. So I invested the time.

And it paid off.

Nowadays, almost all the issues are taken care of by my staff at the White House. It’s such a relief. But more than anything, I’m so proud of them. They did it. They realized their potential.

See? That’s what good mentoring looks like.

You’re making America great again, folks!

I must say that a welcome side effect is that journalists stopped complaining about my visits to Mar-a-Lago. During my first term, I had to spend so many sunny days confined in the White House…, it didn’t make any sense. It’s like nobody has heard of remote work or what?

Side note, never underestimate the connections you make on a golf course. It has served me many times over in my exceptionally brilliant business career.

Coming back to the presidency, the first four years were tough. I see them as an investment. The ROI is record-breaking; we’re doing much better now.

Have you seen the Build Back Better Framework my team launched? Finally, we can work on righting all the wrongs Obama brought to America in his eight years of presidency. Side note, eight years? It shows how much of a coward he is; he would have stayed longer if he was a true patriot — just saying.

I’m also very pleased with the bipartisan $1 trillion infrastructure bill. At last, Congress came to its senses and unlocked the funding for the wall. That’s a relief. I sleep better at night, knowing that we’ll soon be safe from the barbarian invaders from the South.

However, my proudest accomplishment is getting 72 percent of American adults fully vaccinated. My team indeed messed up a bit with its assessment of the pandemic at the beginning. And they took the blame for it — as teams should. Nevertheless, I had faith in their capacity to rebound; after all, I was the one who hired them.

Under my flawless leadership, they did great this last year.

But I’m also aware they can only do so much. We’re not all as gifted as I am. That’s all right because I’m always ready to step up when needed. I’m still waiting for the results of my last golf competition, so I won’t tell you much more today (remember? always focus on the top issues), but I can already tell you I’ve been secretly working on a new treatment for COVID-19.

Big news is coming.
