The prisoner’s lips twist into an — almost — menacing smirk. “And you know what Lorenzo wants, so we’re both just chatting over tea in a murky cave.”
A chill runs through you as nerves take over.
Perhaps a different approach will yield better results.
You introduce who you are to the prisoner, explaining your current predicament. How you lost your family, the poisonous wound, and your servitude to Lorenzo.
The prisoner frowns. “Am I supposed to feel sorry for you? You’re the one holding a deadly weapon.”
A jolt of energy shoots through your veins from the dagger’s handle.
Another warning?
Choose your next action.
- (Tell the truth) Admit you have no idea what you’re doing (click here).
