Poem: Protest

Daily Dose of Philosophy

Photo by sasan rashtipour on Unsplash

To protest feels powerful, But we only partake on the surface. We feel our voices are soulful, But does not take long for them to be lifeless.

To protest is a show of liberty, But shows rarely change a thing. To make real change we need to dig deeply. Give time to educate and allow for an awakening.

Protect to start the process, Let your voice be heard. But dig deep and teach to reach success. Remember, shutting can become a hazard.

Shutting makes your voice be silent, Don’t use your voice to riot, but to change the climate.

Thank you for taking the time and reading my poetry. I hope that you enjoyed it. Stay tuned for more from the Daily Dose of Philosophy.
