Kai: …And you spoke about this… *drops something* Bang.
Kristy: Bang, bang. Yeah. Bang, bang.
Kai: God damn what is wrong with me? Nothing! That’s the point.
Kristy: We don’t have that much audio time.
Kai: Hey, nothing wrong with me.
Kristy: True.
Kai: *sings — badly, very badly* “Nothing wrong with me.” *No copyright breech here… it’s fiiiiiine*
Kristy: Prove it.
Kai: Can’t.
Kristy: What did you call me?
Kai: Jesus.
Kristy: Yeah, it’s like everything is sleeves.
Kai: Right. C*** Jesus and everything is sleeves. What? I don’t know. I lost my thoughts.
Kristy: Everything is wine.
Kai: Drink of my wine. Come on dude, that’s nasty. Your wine is salty.
Kai — Planning has purpose, but New Year’s resolutions are sleeves!
Planning a year ahead was never going to work for me. My life is measured in sits. In a year’s time from today, I literally don’t know where I’ll be. I don’t have a sit booked for this date at this time. So, planning ahead a year = no. I couldn’t do it anyway because I’ve always been someone that can’t see the future. Like, that whole thing of ‘where do you see yourself in 10 years' time’? Fucked if I know. If I’m alive, I’m doing well. Can I get through today first? So, what I’ve done this time is just planned for the first quarter. Just for three months. Because things work and then they don’t and we have to change because of our brains and how they function. I’ve minimized with three areas of focus and three components of each and three mini projects in those. That’s monies and then I have books which are my life priorities. I did the number and I can do it… for three months.
Kristy: I have no timed plans next year, which I think is really important.
I have a list of things that I want to do that I realized my brain has already embarked on. And a lot of them are already finished. I was going to publish that ADHD Ask book (external link below) next year and I’m like, wait, no, I’ve already done it. So even though things are on the list for next year, it’s not like I’m going to not work on them if they are ready to go. My brain has already started working on the Chaos Divide scenes, which is technically 2024 prep. But it is something I put down that I wanted to have done next year. I wanted just to have an idea of what those scenes are. So, that’s cool. It was totally unconscious. I did not plan to start brainstorming them this year, but you know, such as it is, my brain will do whatever it wants to do. I’ve had a lot of new scenes and it’s really fun because it’s all completely new. It’s definitely part of the universe, but it’s new content.
