Pineapple Science

A free verse response to gravity prone fruit

Delicious sweet pineapples, so gravity prone they decided to grow from the ground up. A real hard case, once cracked, it will present you with a luscious interior.

Hummingbirds love to pollinate during the day as do bats by night. Twentieth-century humans soon put a stop to that!

Used against soil erosion, real Friends of the earth. Pineapple’s along with the humble farmer controlling natures water flow, a natural scientific way.

Like most modern ways, industrialised production of our sweet pineapple finds science used and abused polluting water tables and locals in “banana republics.”

Wait! are we not talkin’ ‘bout pineapples here…

This piece has been prompted by Imad. you know where to find him! read Imad’s delightful piece here…
